Essay Rules

In the MTE you will be offered a situation with objectives which you are to accomplish with the assigned Mandalore Forces.
You are to present the best tactical solution for this situation to the judges, of course with explanation and argumentation.
There are seperate situations for enlisted personnel and officers.

The essay will be judged on numerous factors, but most important is the usage of sound tactics.
The winning entries will be posted on the mandalore site with added comments of the MTE judging panels. The writers of the winning entries will be awarded with a MTE ribbon, to testify of their sound tactical solution.

On a final note this essay shouldn’t be written like a IC story.
It isn’t a RP but a essay were you try to convince the judges that your entry is the best tactical solution for the offered situation.

Some rules:
- write your essay in plain text in an email or a word document
- no graphical representations and/or pictures are allowed
- no websites
- no animations
- do not write the essay as an In Character story
- only use ship/weapon descriptions/statistics as used in the SWC

Some hints:
- keep the essay short but complete (aim at about 1, max 2 pages A4), longer is not at all better
- try to predict possible enemy tactics and think of tactics to counteract them
- it is not needed to simulate a complete battle in your essay
